The eastern part of the country is duck hunting land. Rice fields and more farmland and rice crops than people and plenty of ducks that enjoy the light hunting pressure known in South America. These ducks come right into the decoys and whether you hunt ducks in the beginning of the season (May) or late in the season (July or August) you will see ducks both at your AM duck hunt and afternoon duck hunt. You also have the option of Upland hunting at the Fortin Lodge during the Perdiz season which lasts from May 1st to July 31st.
